Creating a style from existing text
You can create a style by copying the format of text in your document. You can also modify text based on a style, then update the original style to match the new format.
To create a new style from formatted text:
Select the text you wish to convert to a style
Choose the Format > Style > New from Selection menu item. This will open the Style Manager with the new style selected.
Enter a name for the style, and press OK. You can now use the style elsewhere in your document.
To modify an existing style:
Select any text that uses the style you wish to modify
Make the desired formatting changes
Choose the Format > Style > Replace style stylename from selection. The style of the selected text will be updated to match the look of the selected text, and all text using that style will be updated.
