Working with images
You can add screen shots and other images to your help project
To copy an image from Finder or another app:
Open the topic page that will contain the image
Drag the image from the other app into the PTHelp and drop it where you want it.
Drag the image to the new location
Select any range of text including the image, or click the image to select it.
Choose Edit > Copy (⌘C)
Click the location you want to copy to and choose Edit > Paste (⌘V)
Click the image to reveal the resize handles
Move the mouse over one of the resize handles (the cursor changes to indicate which direction you can resize)
Drag the cursor until the image is the size you want, then release the cursor
Tip: to keep the aspect ratio of the image, drag one of the resize handles in the image corners.
To change only the height, drag either the top or bottom resize handle.
To change only the width, drag either the left or right resize handle.
Double click the image to open the Image Properties dialog
Select the unit you want to use (points, inches, cm, or % original)
Adjust the height and/or width
Adjust the margins if desired to position the image relative to the text containing it
By default, changing either height or width changes the other dimension proportionally, and you will see the linked iconnext to height/width display. If you want to change either dimension without changing the other, click the linked icon, and it will change to unlinked.
Select any text containing one or more images
Choose Format > Image > Reset to original size
- or -
Click on the image with the right mouse button (or option-click)
Choose Reset image to original size
